I used to love Tony Hawk’s games but there are so many recently it lost its magic. Activision finished work on next title in the serie, Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground, and group MOMENT released it for Xbox 360 already. This is the US, PAL version.

Ever since the beginning many people doubted his ability to make it in the industry, doubted his talent. Evidently he proved to the masses that his shine is a lot brighter than what they estimated. Ace Hood practically stormed onto the scene initially releasing his smash hit 'Cashflow' which featured the talents of T-Pain and Rick Ross. It was quite interesting that a rookie on the block had veterans feature on his track and at that it was a Runners beat. Now mind you he didn't do this alone, DJ Khaled saw talent and signed Ace immediately onto his music imprint, We the Best Music. Ace being the first artist to grace Khaled's label had a lot on his shoulders to prove to Khaled, the industry, and a plethora of doubters that he could stand the rain. Well apparently, he still stands boldly on his own two feet with the release of his debut album, which has been buzzing through the industry and the streets since the beginning, Gutta finally drops. Khaled put him on point, and you got to admit he took it from there and carried his name further than expected.

I have to be quite honest, his album consists of a lot of lyrical versatility, it flows over the beat immaculately. With the many different elements of production, between him and Khaled, they incorporate an interesting collection of heavyweight producers that keep the Ace Hood style. At the same time you would think that a rookie of his caliber would include many features above the elemental production, in fact, he proves that he has no problem carrying the album by himself. However there are some quite appealing features on the album, many talented artists assisted him in lyricism. The 16 track debut LP does absolute justice as you can actually listen to the entire album without skipping a track. Each song describes an intricate storyline as you follow along his lyrics atop the beat as it pounds. With production teams like The Runners, Cool & Dre, The Inkredibles, Shawty Redd, StreetRunner, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, and Drumma Boy it's quite obvious that part of his debut is securely covered on all angles. Features include Rick Ross, Akon, Trick Daddy, Rock City, Brisco, T-Pain, Dre of Cool & Dre, Lloyd, Trey Songz, and Plies. Between both Ace and Khaled, they've comprised a compelling album that is worth more than a gander.

n what has become a known fact that not only is Flo Rida a household name, he is also a renowned international artist and being so, his presence is requested practically all over the world. This past weekend (November 22) the artist originally from Miami was in South Africa for their first ever MTV Africa Music Awards. As a special invited guest to the show, he also performed at the awards with many other African talents across the continent. Alongside Flo in the attendance from the U.S. included The Game and Kelly Rowland.

News reached far across the Atlantic to the U.S. that Flo literally shut down the show where the audience went crazy. Now don't get it twisted, Flo also had time, aside from the show, to mingle with the people of south africa. They were extremely excited to have an international superstar amongst them. I'm quite sure it was a memorable experience for both Flo and the people of South Africa.

Shawty Lo is set to release his sophomore album in March of 2009 which will be entitled 'Carlos.' Mr. Lo has had hit singles like 'Dey Know'and 'Foolish' off of his first album and 'Dope Boy Knot' off his new mixtape which are all bangers. With his New Album on its approach he just released a new mixtape called 'I'm Da Man 2K9' which is hosted by DJ Scream. Shawty Lo's first album sounded good but I'm hoping that his second is better. If he flops it's because he might take a hit from his fan base.

It's kind of like jocking 50 Cent's idea when he dropped 'Curtis' and now you are calling your second album Carlos. It's like whenever you see Shawty Lo in a video thats not related to music,videos he's always talking about T.I. and their ongoing beef. Its all about who is from Bankhead which to me is outlandish. Katt Williams Goes To The Crazy House!!! He Smoking 2 much fucking Weed!

There has been much talk lately about everyone’s favorite micro-pimp, Katt Williams, and his crazy behavior. He has been on some straight Mariah and Britney shit lately, missing shows, catching cases, wilding out in public, and giving horrible performances. Katt has been doing all of the above for quite some time, remember this is the same man who walked out on the BET awards less than a day before the show was set to go.

Well this weekend it looks like Katt went off the deep end totally and he has been committed to a mental institution in Sumter, South Carolina. For real, for real. The trouble started for the star when he arrived in South Carolina and staff at the motel he was staying at became alarmed after he was seen wandering around the motel early in the morning wearing nothing but a bathrobe and towel around his head. For some reason they found this disturbing enough to call the police. I guess them Carolinians don’t get much action out there so this was police worthy. After all he could have been one of those terrorists right with that towel action. Anyway when the police arrived they were perplexed as to why they were called there and Katt simply asked them for directions to the nearest hospital and was allowed to go.

Instead of the hospital though, Katt decided there were some people trying to get him and he needed some legal representation for the matter. So he showed up at the door of local attorney Garryl Deas and according to Deas appeared very frantic and said that the police earlier had violated his rights and that other people were conspiring against him. “His demeanor was a little troubled, disoriented,” Deas told The Item newspaper. “He just said that he doesn’t trust anyone anymore. [That] everyone has turned against him. He wasn’t really coherent.”

Thankfully some family members showed up at this point and begged Katt to come home with them but he refused and remained at the attorney’s office. The family members then did the wrong thing and came back with the POLICE who somehow had acquired an order to transport him to a mental health facility. Witnesses say Katt let it be known he didn’t want to go but did not give any physical action to the local coppers.

In South Carolina a man can be sent to the nut house if he is considered a suicide risk or a danger risk to others. Katt will be held for 72 hours and then will appear before a judge who will determine if he is crazy and belongs there or if he should go home. The hospital where Katt is being held is not releasing any info to the press about his condition or status.

Let’s pray for Katt on this one ya’ll. Who knows what kind of pressure’s he’s under so let’s try to be understanding and hope the best for him not the worst. And always remember to deal with family problems in house. Getting the police involved can only make matter worse.

Man Convicted Of Murdering T.I.'s Assistant

A jury has convicted the man accused of gunning down rapper T.I.'s assistant last May after a show in Cincinnati. Hosea Thomas, 35, was found guilty on all counts - including murder - today (November 26). Prosecutors alleged that Thomas was the triggerman in the May 3, 2006 shooting, while his brother Padron drove the Jeep that followed two of the rapper's vans down I-75.

The incident stemmed from an earlier altercation inside of Club Ritz, where Hosea was struck in the head with a bottle.

Hosea Thomas was convicted of firing the shots into T.I.'s van that struck and killed Philant Johnson, who died from a gunshot wound to the left temple.

Three other members of T.I.'s entourage were injured during the exchange, which took place on the interstate.

Hosea Thomas was convicted after a number of people testified he was the shooter, including his own brother Padron, who will receive a lesser sentence for his cooperation.

Thomas faces 20 years to life in prison when he is sentenced December 23.

In related news, T.I. and his Grand Hustle cohorts plan to give back to their Atlanta community through a series of charitable events this Thanksgiving.

Following a press conference, which kicks off at 9:00 am, T.I. and his entourage will help serve food and will also speak encouraging words to the children and parents in attendance.

At 7:00 PM, T.I. will head to Adamsville Recreation Center, where he and members of his Grand Hustle imprint will host a turkey giveaway.

Later, the rapper will head to Turner Field, where he will take part in the Feed The Hungry & Homeless event.

Rap Chart Movement: T.I.'s Reign Continues, Ace Hood Grabs Second Place

T.I.'s Paper Trail remains at the top of the Billboard's 'Top Rap Albums Chart' by pushing 50,500 units this week. After 9 weeks on the charts, Paper Trail has sold a total of 1,229,000 copies.

Miami rapper Ace Hood enters the chart at No. 2 with his debut album Gutta.

The set, which features appearances from Trick Daddy, Plies and Rick Ross, scanned 24,700 copies in its opening week.

Lil Wayne holds fort No. 3. Tha Carter III moved 22,800 CDs this week. So far, the album has sold a total of 2,694,600 copies.

Debuting at No. 4 is Houston rapper South Park Mexican with his latest effort Last Chair Violinist. The album cashed out 15,300 CDs in its first spin on the charts.

Seated at No. 5 is Young Jeezy. The Recession moved 14,400 units this week, pushing its total to 629,200.

The Game stays put at No. 6. L.A.X. bagged up 29,600 units in its 14th week on the chart. So far, the album has sold a total of 580,900 copies.

Posted at No. 7 is Q-Tip. The Renaissance shelved off 8,900 discs this week. So far, the set has sold 58,000 copies.

Rap/Reggaton duo Wisin Y Yandel slip two spots to No. 8. La Ment cashed out 7,800 copies this week, bringing the album's total sales to 18,900.

Lil Keke debuts at No. 9 with his latest album Loved By Few, Hated By Many. The set scanned 5,800 units in its opening week.

M.I.A. wraps things up at No. 10. Kala bags up 3,800 copies this week. So far, the album has sold 389,200 units.

Man Stabbed At Webbie Concert

A Florida man was reportedly stabbed outside a local nightclub where Louisiana rapper Webbie was performing early Friday morning (November 28).
According to WPTV, police were called to Club Pulse after several shots were fired outside the venue and only found one man with a stab wound when they arrived.

The man was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Around 700 people were in the club. No other injuries were reported.

In related news, Webbie is facing various felony charges after leading Mississippi police on a high speed chase in September.

The rapper refused to come out of his car after being stopped for a traffic violation and crashed into another vehicle during the chase. Marijuana was also found in Webbie's vehicle.

Notorious B.I.G.'s Son Cast As His Own Father In Biopic 'Notorious'

Notorious BIGNotorious B.I.G.'s son Christopher Wallace Jr. will play his own father in a forthcoming movie about the rap legend.

The 12 year old, whose mother is singer Faith Evans, plays his dad as a child in some scenes in Notorious, alongside actor Jamal Woolard. Rapper Woolard, also known as Gravy, portrays Biggie in his 20s. And Wallace Jr. - who was just four months old when his dad was gunned down in 1997, aged just 24 - found the experience helped him learn more about his late father.

During a chat with his grandmother Violetta Wallace, in the December issue of Interview magazine, the young actor says, "My mom told me some of the stuff he used to do. Like how he rubbed his nose sometimes. And then I got some of my character's scenes six or seven months before we actually shot the film, so I went over that stuff a lot."

He was even told to tap into his own feelings for the father he never knew, to help him get emotional in scenes: "My acting coach said I should think about if he was alive, how I miss him, and I really got into it."

And Wallace Jr. has definite plans to follow his father's footsteps, once he has finished his education. He adds, "(I'll) probably (go into rap). But I want to go to college. And I want to graduate and study film."

Keri Hilson Deliberates On Everything From ‘Meeting The Parents’ To ‘Faux-gasms’

Keri Hilson’s skinny ass recently sat down with Complex Magazine to comment on common cliche statements men often make. A short but interesting read if you ask me. Kind of gives you an inside look into this new artist whose “turning us on” but otherwise was just a mystery. Seems like shorty’s got a little swag and a little confidence. Comes across very sexy. Keri Hilson says: That’s definitely true. I’m 5′9”. So, my height’s an issue. If I’m feeling sexy, I’ll put on some heels-if that makes me a little taller than you, so be it. You have to be secure enough to stand next to a stallion. [Laughs.] For a woman to feel her best, her man has to support her.

Men say: Unless we’re engaged, you don’t need to meet my parents.

Keri Hilson says: That’s definitely some B.S. You can be boyfriend and girlfriend for more than three or four years without being engaged. Your parents, to a girlfriend, are a reflection of who you are. I’ve never dated a guy and called him my boyfriend until he met my parents.

Eminem Holds Up Dre's Detox

Get ready to scratch off yet another album off your Christmas wishlist this year folks. As most of you may have already guessed, Dr. Dre's highly--and at this point, mythical-- album, Detox has been pushed back a 2009 release.

The official word has arrived care of Interscope Records's head honcho, Jimmy Iovine. In a recent interview with Billboard, Iovine says Eminem is the reason for yet another rescheduling of the long awaited album.

"We only tried to put him [Eminem] out this year to replace Dr. Dre, but we got into a quagmire." Iovine tells Jonathan Cohen of Billboard.

" Eminem was always coming next year. But what happened was, I lost Dr. Dre to Eminem. Dre had to stop making his album to finish Eminem's album. Eminem hit a streak, and when a guy like Eminem gets on fire, you stop everything. That's how we lost Dre" he continued.

Iovine insists that Dre will be back to work on Detox after January, hinting at a first quarter release for Eminem.

"Dre's going back in in January. He'll be finished with Eminem by then, and he'll finish his album."

Interscope was to see a big fourth quarter this year with the releases of 50 Cent's Before I Self Destruct, Eminem's Relapse, and Dr. Dre's Detox, however all three albums have been pushed back to 2009.

President Bush Pardons Rapper John Forte

Hip Hop heads who thought George Bush wasn't a fan of the genre may be in for a slight surprise.

According to reports, the spurned president will be handing former Fugees rapper, John Forte, a presidential pardon before he steps down as Commander In Chief.

Grammy Award-winning rapper and music producer originally sentenced to 14 years in prison for smuggling cocaine is one of 16 people receiving pardons or reduced sentences from President Bush says the Washington Post.

John Forte, whom was featured on Wyclef Jean's hit single, "Stayin' Alive," and later became a producer for the Fugee Camp, was caught in 2000 at Newark International Airport with two briefcases filled with $1.4 million worth of liquid cocaine.

As a first-time offender, he was convicted of possessing the 31 pounds of cocaine with intent to distribute and was sentenced to a minimum of 14 years at Fort Dix, N.J.

Forte will be released on December 22nd but still faces five years of supervised probation.

Hip Hop Beefs Turn Violent At Dirty Awards

Hip hop beefs escalated out of control at this years Radio One Dirty Awards in Atlanta, Georgia. The awards ended abruptly after numerous fights between T.I's Grand Hustle camp & Shawty Lo and members of his entourage.

According to reports, tension mounted during T.I.'s performance of Young LA's "Ain't I." Witnesses say T.I. switched up the verses and dissed Shawty Lo with a chorus of "Don't I."

During the performance, recording artist Alfamega allegedly through a chair into the crowd prompting a member of the D4L camp to storm the stage.

Police broke up the fight after a brief melee.

T.I. then took the stage denouncing the violence, during his performance however, the "Whatever You Like" hitmaker took lyrical jabs at Shawty Lo. A member of T.I.'s entourage who was on stage at the time, dove into the crowd an assaulted a man believed to be Shawty Lo's brother.

Police officers subdued the ruckus using pepper spray prompting the end of the show.

The mayhem didn't stop there however, witnesses also say Young Jeezy and his CTE crew were involved in a physical altercation with Aphilliates president LA Tha Darkman and members of his entourage.

The altercation took place after Jeezy and company allegedly verbally taunted LA and his crew. Over five people were supposedly involved in the melee which allegedly left Jeezy and CTE bruised and bloodied.

Jay-Z has ranked atop yet another Forbes Magazine list. After ranking second on the publication’s annual “Hip-Hop Cash Kings” list, Jiggaman and his wife Beyonce have been named Hollywood’s richest couple.

According to Forbes, the couple almost evenly pitched in to earn $162 million last year. Hov’s revenues came from his Live Nation deal and his American Gangster release. Meanwhile, Bey made $80 mill through fashion, films, publishing deals, sold out tours and endorsement deals with American Express, L’Oreal and Direct TV.

The couple easily beat out Will Smith and Jada Pinkett who came in second with $85 million. The Fresh Prince raked in $80 mill with blockbusters like The Pursuit Of Happyness, I Am Legend and Hancock while Pinkett chipped in with $5 mill via movie roles. The list also featured David and Victoria Beckham at no. 3, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill at no. 4 and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at no. 5.
